For those of us lucky enough to be able to continue working during the lock-down, one of the hardest changes is to adapt to an atmosphere that is "work from home." It can be difficult to get started on the right track without much experience working remotely and to create the perfect space for us to work productively.
The new dynamic of permanently (for the time being) working from home was unsettling at the start of my lockdown journey; I was still sorting out my system, and at times I found it hard to concentrate. This may also be due in part to concerns about Covid-19.
But I settled in with a few remote working tips and tricks, built up my perfect little space and gave myself a routine and guidelines. Sure enough, I realized I genuinely began to work a lot more productively and midday burnout was a thing of the past.
