FIRES DE WORKLACE In 2013-14, 22,200 fires were recorded in non-residential buildings, of which 75 per cent were accidental fires. 3,700 incidents were reported in which alarms failed to sound and 17 fatalities occurred as a result of fires that began in non-dwelling buildings.
