The new earnings report from Netflix offers investors and the general public a snapshot into where the world's largest streaming service has risen the most over the past year, while also describing the average user income in various regions.
It is not surprising that much of Netflix's subscriber growth has recently come from foreign markets, as the penetration rates are already very high in North America. The subscription service has gained 41.4 million paying subscribers globally in the 12 months ending June 30, 2020, 35.0 million of which were based outside the United States and Canada.
