You could schedule the whole day around the run in a perfect world, and head out into the road whenever the time is right. This isn't a perfect world, however, and you've got to plan work and various other commitments. When you want to keep up with your running routine even though the sun has gone down (or hasn't come up yet), you'll need a solid attack strategy to keep you secure and relaxed when you're in the miles.
