Happiness. For decades the psychology profession has concentrated primarily on fixing the negative investigating what was "wrong" with us, or relieving stress, trauma, and addictions. But we've seen a big change over the past decade: scientists now turn their focus to what makes people succeed.
What feelings, acts and habits are making us more successful at work, happier in our relationships and more satisfied at the end of the day? That's the emphasis of the positive psychology field, also referred to as the happiness study.
