Increasingly, nurses work with a diverse group of patients. As a result, a wide range of linguistic , cultural and health obstacles to literacy threaten them. Nurses should consider the cultural and linguistic meaning of imparting health literacy skills in order to facilitate the delivery of treatment.
When it comes to incorporating linguistic and cultural aspects into nursing practice, nursing literature offers limited coverage. In order to optimize health outcomes for culturally diverse patients, clinicians are well positioned to foster interconnections between patient culture, health literacy, and language.
