For years, some countries in Europe have prioritized and heavily invested in cycling infrastructure, with the two most popular examples being the Netherlands and Denmark. As individuals escape overcrowded public transit networks and embrace their motorcycles, the Covid-19 pandemic has now compelled other nations to follow suit. While governments have moved to roll out the infrastructure needed to support the sudden cycling boom, that has resulted in big business for bike manufacturers with significant shortages recorded.
