When you want to keep everyone full and ready to take on the waves, savory food is a must. Your perfect go-to snacks to keep everyone fed are wraps, fried chicken and other easy-to-make handheld dishes, particularly if you do not have a foldable table or a flat area to eat!
A beach favorite is sandwiches. To help avoid a soggy sandwich, we suggest placing dry lettuce between each slice of bread. The lettuce will keep the juices from your bread away from your meat, vegetables and other ingredients. Pack wet ingredients such as sliced tomatoes in a separate bag if you have the time, and add them to your sandwich when you're ready to eat.
