Lockout/Tagout regulations are based on the standard OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 "Hazardous Energy Control" Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) refers to particular practices and procedures to safely de-energize and re-energize equipment when it is necessary to perform operation or repair.
