These three businesses have controlled the majority of sales of video gaming consoles since the 1980s. The video game systems with the highest lifetime sales are shown in this graph from vr .space. The PlayStation 2, which came out in 2000, is at the top, with 155 million copies sold. Following its 2004 debut, the Nintendo DS sold more than 154 million copies. Another Nintendo product, the Game Boy, which was initially launched in 1989, and the Game Boy Color, which was introduced in 1998, are both ranked third with 118.69 million units sold.
