The average home value in the United States increased by 41.45% between January 2020 and July 2022 alone, going from an average value of $251,000 to an average value of $355,000. The biggest rise in the average home value of any American city was in Cape Coral, Florida, with an increase of 85.96%. The team at Decorative Ceiling Tiles just released this new infographic that examines the U.S. cities whose typical home values have increased the most since the start of the epidemic, using data from Zillow's Home Value Index for January 2020 through July 2022.
