The Healing Power of Cat Purrs

Owners of cats may be onto something. In today's infographic, our feline companions are shown to offer us more than simply emotional support. By providing calming cat purrs, house cats may be helping to improve our physical health!

The vibrations produced when a cat purrs between 20 and 140 Hertz may have therapeutic effects on people in the area. It has been proven that purring can reduce stress, ease dyspnea symptoms, cut your risk of heart attack, and even strengthen your bones.

According to Animal Planet, there is scientific evidence to support the use of pet therapy in many communities, and studies suggest that people who own pets live longer than people who do not.

It appears that our pets may be able to relieve us of our anxieties, or at the very least, make them seem less pressing. There may never be a complete understanding of the link between pets and their owners (cats, in particular, have always seemed magical and enigmatic to me; and now they have healing abilities?). Nevertheless, it's comforting to know that having a furry friend nearby can lengthen our lives.

So, if you want to persuade your parents to let you adopt a cat, just show them this infographic and visit a nearby animal shelter.

This appears to be a fantastic addition for your recuperating feline and current cat owners:
